2013-14 Timeline of Deadlines and Events:

Sept 17 Study Abroad Fair
Sept 20 Deadline for 2013 proposals
Oct 11 Deadline for finalizing publicity, web content
Nov 4-8 Marketing blitz – classroom visits, fliers distributed, etc. (CIAP)
Nov 18-22 International Education Week – various opportunities for recruitment and showcasing your program including a study abroad fair
Dec 15 Deadline for courses in BANNER (will fall withink a week of this date).  All courses should be set up by department administrator prior to this date.
Feb 11 Study Abroad Fair
Feb 21 Priority application and deposit deadline for students
Mar 21 Final Payment deadline for students
Mar 24-28 Spring Break
March Programs will be called "go" or "no go" based on enrollment and payments
Mar/Apr Submit advance check requests
Mar/Apr Faculty Preparation and Policy Workshops
Mar/Apr Pre-departure orientations with students
Mar/Apr Register students (CIAP)
Mar/Apr Confirm schedules (students)

Reporting Incidents
Faculty and Program Directors leading a program abroad with UA students should use the Incident Report form from the Office of Judicial Affairs to report any incidents involving students while abroad: Incident Report Form
