Financing Your Study Abroad

As you consider an education abroad opportunity, follow the steps outlined below in order to successfully finance your study abroad.
  1. Review the cost considerations table, which explains expected financial factors by program type.
  2. Use the interactive budget sheet to determine approximate costs for your program.
    • For faculty-led programs consult the specific program’s summarized cost and payment sheet.
  3. Consider your federal financial aid options and apply for financial aid if needed.
  4. Research and apply for study abroad scholarships.
  5. Request for undergraduate scholarships to be applied (for students currently receiving undergraduate scholarships).
  6. Exhaust your options by exploring additional funding resources.
  7. Consult the Financing Your Study Abroad handbook and FAQs for more information.
